Who We Are:

We're here for you! We promise to fulfill the need of seniors and their families in Northern Michigan with compassion and understanding.

1Senior Home Care Inc exists to provide options for our clients to maintain an optimum level of contentment and independence living at home, improve their quality of life and support their extended families.

Working as Program and Volunteer Coordinator at Charlevoix County Commission on Aging gave Sue the great opportunity to get to know many families here in the community as she traveled between three senior centers.  In this position, she saw firsthand the need of seniors in the community and sincerely enjoyed working with them. Wanting to help fulfill the senior care need personally, she resigned from her job and went back to school full time for Nursing and trained at three local assisted living facilities.  Her experience working with seniors in the community led to the creation of 1Senior Home Care Inc.

We understand the need and want to make a difference in people’s lives when they need it most. Our services, backed by both experience and compassion, will fulfill that goal.
